A Poem about "old school" men...

               His Demeanor
                      written by Elisabeth Zguta

Standing firm on the rock of stability

Not bending to frivolous changes

Knowing his limits and using his best

Never a moments rest

His demeanor is a front of strength

Needing to empower the instinctive nature

To procure, care, and protect

The tasks are done without deliberation

Naturally a planner, worker and reaper

An occasional thought and dream

To change his demeanor for more pleasant ways

A compassionate man in all ways

Can he change, and should he

Will the world make sense

Can he have this demeanor

And his happiness

His demeanor is a shield for all his cares

Loves in his life are better for his demeanor
